"Our guide Thomas made our day sensational. I was travelling with my Mum (73) and we able to get around and see so much in one day. Thomas has exceptional local (and general) knowledge which added so much value to our tour. Thomas took us to places we never knew existed but will never forget, he took us to different vantage points to get the best photos and knew how the weather, wind, fog etc would impact our tour and managed it accordingly. Thomas made us feel relaxed and like his personal guest. I highly recommend anyone wishing to see San Francisco to take this tour with Thomas. Thanks again Thomas for such a special day."

"Tour Guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about San Francisco and took us places we would not have seen on a group tour. This was the best experience of our trip to this beautiful city. I told our hotel about this tour and recommended they pass the word on to their clientele. Fabulous and I can not say enough about it."
Things to know:
A collapsible wheelchair, scooter or stroller can fit in the back trunk of the SUV. I also carry a step stool and car cane handle for the door. Most sights can be seen without getting out of the vehicle.
If you have children under 8, you must use a size appropriate booster or car seat. Children may not ride on the parent's lap. Contact me to reserve equipment for the day.
Our Muir Woods parking time is limited and strictly enforced by the park. Expect 75-95 minutes in the forest.
Only Rangers may guide inside Muir Woods, your driver can not escort you in the woods. The board-walked and paved main pathways are well marked and easy to follow.
What to Expect:
Depart 9am or at your custom time. Your driver-guide picks you up at your hotel in the comfortable and spacious SUV. The route is thoughtfully chosen with he position of the sun in mind to limit back lit photos.
Start by seeing some of the sights of San Francisco before crossing the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods. Learn about the city's different neighborhoods as you cruise through places such as Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, Coit Tower, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard Street, The Marina, Palace of Fine Arts, Pacific Heights, The Presidio, Crissy Field and Fort Point.
Relax in the beauty of Muir Woods, skipping the parking hassles at this popular destination as your driver drops you off close to the front entrance and forest paths ($15 per adult). There you will have free time to take a short or long walk in the coastal redwood forest, going at your own pace. After your time in Muir Woods, your guide takes you to Sausalito, a bayside town known for its restaurants, shops, art galleries, and sweeping views of San Francisco. After free time for lunch, drive to the top of Hawk Hill in the Marin Headlands, high above the Golden Gate where the famous bridge provides a picture frame for the city behind it.
Head back to San Francisco to explore more, seeing the popular sights and the places that are not as well known. Snap a photo of the Golden Gate Bridge and Pacific Ocean from the sands of Baker Beach. Swing through Golden Gate Park on your way to the brightly colored hippy streets of the Haight-Ashbury. Drive to the top of Twin Peaks for a stunning panoramic view of downtown. Admire the architecture, passing old Victorian and Queen Anne homes on the way to Alamo Square. Fans of the sitcoms Full House and Fuller House will recognize the famous Post Card Row of Painted Ladies in this iconic park. See the tall dome at our City Hall as we head back to your hotel or drop off at Pier 39/Fisherman's Wharf just around dinner time.
